Promote solidarity and cooperation among the peoples of Bolivia and Chile

Volunteer project: The project is a Social and Cultural tour of brotherhood and integration among the peoples of Bolivia and Chile. This solidarity initiative aims to raise awareness about Bolivia's claim for access to the sea. The project also aims to learn from the organizational experience of peoples in social, cultural, ecological and community self-management.
The volunteers will visit popular organizations, social centers, public libraries and social movements in Santiago (Chile) for interviews, seminars, reports, photographs, etc. on the current social situation in Chile. They will also hear opinions on the proposal of Bolivia for sea access. The volunteers will participate in the Conference on Human Rights to be held in Chile in September.

Leisure time: During the free time, cultural activities or countryside visits will be organized in order to introduce volunteers to the history, traditions and customs of the country. Volunteers will always be in contact with the local population.
Accommodation: Volunteers will be accommodated in a community center in Cochabamba, Bolivia and in Santiago, Chile.

Extra fee: 290 Euro
Transportation from Cochabamba Airport and local transportation during the project are included. Transportation to Santiago de Chile is also included.
The extra fee is intended to support the local host of the project who does not have sufficient funds. It is due upon arrival.
